Dearest Leslie, thank you for this fabulous article! It was like opening a present within a present within another present! Love love love the recipe idea, book suggestion and most of all I loved reading your beautiful words. You are so gifted; it’s a treat to receive your “Small Affairs” which of course will certainly leave no “small” mark on all who read it.
Covid has really upended my relationships and I’m feeling devoid of friends/connection. I am reminding myself that I’m not alone and that this time can be a beautiful reset and an opportunity for soul growth.
This was just at the perfect time. Thank you you for reassurance of not being alone. Even though I know this, and being surrounded by my loves. I’m entering a place of empty nesting and it’s even when we aren’t alone it can still be lonely. It’s more about mind shift and finding our place with Him.
I'm teaching a Spiritual Rhythms Seminar and in the beginning I always talk about how we are Beloved. I love what you say about being someone's beloved and how it is a worldview, an elixir, a calling....and I would add, a spirituality. I'm going to quote you in my classes if that is ok!
