If you were wondering if I’m that girl who loves to share her favorite recommendations with her favorite people, YES, you better believe I am 100% that girl. Each of the things on this list have nourished me in some way this summer, and I’ve been building the list in my notes app with you in mind. I will tell you ahead of time, we’re talking about a shockingly easy-yet-impressive dinner recipe, a life-hack to stay hydrated, a thought-provoking indie film, and the best part: a playlist. Mmm hmm, a very groove-worthy, dance-in-the-car, shake your hips kind of playlist that you absolutely need in order to get your wiggles out before fall. Let’s get to it.

something for dinner. (it’s fantastic)

We dined on this super-easy pot pie for dinner twice this week and it’s the tastiest one I’ve ever made (and I’ve made a few). I would give credit to the original, but I’ve made several changes. Instead of using puff pastry, this time my mom collaborated with me by making her stand-by, from-scratch savory pie crust (leave out the sugar) for the top, and it was even better (though using a puff pastry crust is still very yummy, since it is PUFF PASTRY).
